Finnish Defense Forces order additional 6×6 armored personnel carriers from Patria

The Finnish Defense Forces are set to acquire additional 6×6 armored personnel carriers from the manufacturer Patria, as announced by the company. This is part of a supplementary procurement reservation included in a previously signed framework agreement. Last summer, Patria and the Logistics Command of the Defense Forces entered into a contract for 91 armored personnel carriers along with their equipment. The initial procurement was tied to a reservation for an additional 70 vehicles, of which the Defense Forces have already acquired 41 by the end of last year. They have now ordered 29 more vehicles. The ordered vehicles are expected to be delivered by the end of 2025.
