Voter support shifts in recent survey in the Faroe Islands

In a recent voter survey conducted by Spyr.fo for Blaðið Vikuskifti, 31% of the 500 respondents expressed support for the leader of the People’s Party. This marks a 5 percentage point increase compared to the same question posed in May.

Meanwhile, 25.9% of voters would like Aksel V. Johannesen to continue in his role, which represents a slight improvement compared to findings from the May survey.

Additionally, 20.9% of those surveyed prefer former Prime Minister Bárð á Steig Nielsen, leader of the Union Party, to return to the premiership.
