Two additional individuals detained in homicide investigation in Kujala, Lahti

The Päijät-Häme District Court has detained two additional individuals in connection with a suspected homicide in Kujala, Lahti. On Monday, a 23-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were taken into custody on probable cause for murder and aggravated robbery. Last week, two men aged 35 and 38 from Lahti were also detained in connection with the same incident. All individuals apprehended have multiple prior convictions from the Päijät-Häme District Court.
The police investigation revolves around a murder suspicion after a 69-year-old man was found deceased in early August, following a fire at his home on Korvenrannantie. According to the South Finnish news outlet, the case involves ambiguity regarding property rental matters and ownership relations concerning the assets located on the property.
