Today, electricity prices remain high, although they have not reached the peak levels experienced yesterday. The most expensive hours are expected this morning, with prices rising to nearly 45 cents per kilowatt-hour between 8 and 9 AM. The average price for electricity throughout the day is close to 25 cents per kilowatt-hour.
A significant factor contributing to these elevated prices is the malfunction of the Olkiluoto Unit 2, which is anticipated to remain offline for several weeks.
