Temperatures expected to soar again in Finland as heat records loom

It is possible that temperature records will be broken again on Monday, according to a meteorologist from the Finnish Meteorological Institute on Sunday. September has already seen six days of heat, and the total number of heat days for the year increased to 69 on Saturday.

Midweek is expected to bring slightly cooler temperatures and the possibility of rain. However, after that, there may be a chance for additional hot days during the weekend. The high pressure system currently moving east is predicted to return over Finland by the weekend according to some forecasts.
