Taxi driver threatened with firearm near Stangeland in Sandnes, Norway

A taxi driver has reportedly been threatened with a firearm, according to the police in the South-West region of Norway. Operations manager Roger Litlatun confirmed that a woman has been arrested following the incident, which took place on the E39 highway near Stangeland in Sandnes.

The woman was apprehended by armed police shortly after the threatening situation. During the arrest, law enforcement discharged a warning shot. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. A weapon was recovered from the suspect, as confirmed by the operations manager.
