Salmonella detected in Kieku Oy laying hen farm in Finland

Salmonella bacteria have been detected in the laying hen farm of Kieku Oy, a Finnish egg-packing company. Consumers are urged to dispose of or return all eggs packaged by Kieku Oy that bear the farm identification code 2FI220479 on their shells. In its announcement, Kieku Oy has listed all 13 product names for which this farm supplies eggs. The S-group, a major retail chain in Finland, also reported on the incident over the weekend.
