Smoke emerged from under a train at Pasila Station in Helsinki on Friday evening, according to the city’s fire department. The alarm was raised at 6:10 PM, and by 6:30 PM, the authorities confirmed that there was no active fire at the scene.
Train operations have been temporarily halted in Pasila due to a power outage. Fintraffic, the organization responsible for managing rail traffic, has not provided an estimate on how long the disruption will last. Currently, the western tracks for high-speed trains are closed, while local train services are operating normally, as reported by the traffic management center.
