Man injured in serious workplace accident at industrial site in Hafnarfjörður

A serious workplace accident occurred last Wednesday at an industrial site on Hringhella in Hafnarfjörður. A man, who was working on repairing a door in a construction container, fell and was struck by the door, resulting in a skull fracture and internal bleeding in the brain.

When police arrived at the scene, the man was disoriented and was promptly transported to a hospital for treatment, where he is currently undergoing examinations. Authorities in the capital region have not provided further details regarding the man’s condition.
