Police arrest two individuals in Tiller, Trondheim for aiding suspects in attempted murder case
On Friday afternoon, police conducted an operation in Tiller, Trondheim, resulting in the arrest of two individuals accused of assisting and concealing persons following an attempted murder that occurred in Nedre Elvehavn in the early hours of Sunday, August 11.
According to police prosecutor John R. Sødahl Furunes from Trøndelag Police District, the arrests are connected to the ongoing investigation into the attempted murder case. However, he clarified that the arrested individuals are not charged with any direct involvement in the attempted murder itself. Instead, they are accused of aiding individuals seeking to evade prosecution.
Furunes reported that the suspects helped hide several individuals who are implicated in the attempted murder case. Currently, two people are in custody while one other remains at large and is still wanted.
The police are actively working to locate this third suspect, who is now sought both nationally and internationally. While authorities do not have any information confirming that this person has left the country, they consider it a possibility.
