Company proposes solar plant and data centre at Huuhansuo

Wildmanone Oy is planning a large solar power production area at Huuhansuo with the City of Lappeenranta and other partners, Yle reports.

The project company has proposed changing the area’s zoning so that part of it could also be used for data centre and energy operations.

Huuhansuo is a former peat extraction area about 10 kilometres from Lappeenranta, south of Highway 6 in the direction of Luumäki.
