Customs suspects group brought more than 170kg of cocaine to Finland
Finnish Customs suspects an international criminal group arranged for more than 170 kilograms of cocaine and other drugs to be brought into Finland in express cargo shipments, Yle reported. The cocaine distributed could be worth nearly 14 million euros.
Fourteen people are suspected in the case, and 12 remain in custody. Most are citizens of Albania, Kosovo or Italy. The group also includes Finnish citizens or people living in Finland.
Customs said it has seized more cocaine this year than ever before. By the end of September, it had seized more than 130 kilograms.
