The owner of the boat involved in the tragic accident in Helsinki’s Kruunuvuorenselkä is suspected of gross manslaughter and endangering traffic safety, according to police reports. Investigations have confirmed that the boat collided with the supporting structures of a construction bridge in May, resulting in the death of the man operating the vessel.
Authorities suspect the boat’s owner of wrongdoing, as he was considered to be in command of the watercraft at the time of the incident. The owner sustained serious injuries during the accident.
