Showers and sleet expected across much of Iceland

Showers or sleet showers are expected across much of Iceland today, mbl.is reports. Winds will be southwesterly at 8 to 13 metres per second, with mostly clear skies in the northeast and east. Temperatures will range from 1 to 8 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow, southwesterly and southerly winds of 5 to 13 metres per second are forecast, with drizzle or light rain at times. It will remain mostly dry in the east, while temperatures rise and precipitation increases in western Iceland tomorrow evening.
