Effo starts building aviation fuel storage in Søldarfjørður

Effo has begun building a new energy storage facility in Søldarfjørður, with two of its seven tanks intended to hold larger quantities of aviation fuel, KVF reports.

Aviation fuel is currently imported from Denmark in containers and stored in smaller quantities. Effo says the new facility will change that, allowing the fuel to be stored in the Faroe Islands again.
