The Tampere-based construction company Pirkanmaan Mestari-Rakentajat has filed for bankruptcy. Founded in 1993, the company submitted its bankruptcy application to the Pirkanmaa District Court on Thursday, August 15. This information is available in the public database maintained by the Finnish Legal Register Centre.

The company has reported payment issues amounting to €21,829, along with unresolved payment delays totaling €25,284. According to its financial statements, the firm has suffered losses for the past three years. In 2023, the company recorded a revenue of approximately €8.2 million, resulting in an operating loss of €120,000. At that time, it employed 18 people. In 2022, the revenue was €13.8 million, with an operating loss of €230,000. In 2021, the company generated €9.6 million in revenue but faced a larger operating loss of €360,000.

Specializing in renovation construction, the company has been involved in numerous building projects within the Pirkanmaa region. Attempts to reach the company’s CEO for an interview were unsuccessful, as he did not respond to inquiries. The bankruptcy news was initially reported by Aamulehti.
