Finance ministry has yet to approve health assistants’ deal

The Health Assistants’ Association is still waiting for the Ministry of Finance to approve its new collective agreement, two weeks after reaching a deal with the Municipal Employers’ Association, KVF reports.

“We still haven’t heard anything from the Ministry of Finance,” said Mary Antonsdóttir, chair of the Health Assistants’ Association.

Antonsdóttir said the ministry usually takes only a few days to approve an agreement. She expects approval this week and said the association will not enter further negotiations.
