Collision delays traffic on Vesturlandsvegur

A collision between Mosfellsbær and Grafarholt delayed traffic on Vesturlandsvegur, mbl.is reported.

Two fire service vehicles from the capital area were sent to the scene. Lárus Steindór Björnsson of the fire service told mbl.is that no serious injuries were believed to have occurred.

Police and firefighters were still working at the scene shortly before 7 p.m. He said drivers should expect delays while emergency crews carried out their work, but could not say when traffic would return to normal.
