Finland’s Licensing and Supervision Agency (LVV) has received reports that care staff photographed people with dementia and other vulnerable clients without permission, Yle reported.
In some cases, clients were photographed or filmed without clothes. The images were shown to others or shared, the agency said, adding that the conduct violates clients’ right to self-determination and privacy.
Requests for police investigations have been filed in cases reported to the agency.
