Skies will clear in southern and western Iceland

Southern and western Iceland will have mostly clear skies today, while showers or sleet showers are expected in many other areas, mbl.is reports.

Winds will be northerly or variable at 3 to 10 metres per second. Winds will strengthen in the southeast and east this evening, reaching northwesterly 13 to 20 metres per second there tomorrow morning. Elsewhere, winds will be 5 to 13 metres per second. Winds are expected to ease tomorrow afternoon.

Daytime temperatures will range from 1 to 6°C, with slight frost in many inland areas.
