A floor of Sweden’s parliamentary administration offices in Stockholm was evacuated on Thursday morning after an alarm indicated a possible fire, SVT reported.
Police spokesperson Ashkan Ardalan said authorities had received a fire alarm from one of the parliament’s offices. Aftonbladet reported that an internal alarm about smoke led to the evacuation.
Fire and rescue services and police were at the parliament building. Police said they were waiting for an update from the rescue service and that, as far as they knew, no fire had been found. Police set up cordons to support the rescue service’s work.
