Rain and mountain snow forecast in parts of Iceland

Rain or sleet is forecast today, with snow in the mountains of eastern and northeastern Iceland, according to mbl.is. Showers are expected near the coast in the northwest and in the Westfjords, while the south and west will remain dry.

Temperatures today will range from 1 to 7C.

Tomorrow, winds will be variable at 3 to 8 metres per second. The south is expected to get some sleet or rain, with a few showers in the northwest. Elsewhere, skies will be partly clear, and daytime temperatures will range from 0 to 5C.
