Police to contact women in illegal image-sharing case

Police will contact more than 100 women pictured nude or partially clothed in the next two weeks, KVF reports.

Five men have been arrested and charged with illegally possessing and sharing images of the women. They have been released but remain charged in the case.

The images include recently taken photographs as well as pictures dating back 25 years, found on a storage device called “Golden Maps” that is still circulating.

Police expect to complete their investigation this year before sending the case to the prosecution service.
