Orka donates five krónur per unit to Pink Ribbon

Orka will donate five krónur for every litre of fuel and kilowatt-hour sold at its Dalveg gas station in Kópavogur on Wednesday, mbl.is reported.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Orka employees will take over the fuel pumps as part of Pink Day. Staff from the company’s office will wear pink and help customers refuel their cars.

“On Pink Day, we want to take the opportunity to support an important cause in a tangible way. We hope customers will welcome the initiative and join us, because every litre counts,” Orka marketing manager Brynja Guðjónsdóttir said in a statement.
