Kringvarp Føroya’s radio programme Breddin will discuss access to detoxification and treatment, as well as unrest in France, on Tuesday.

The programme returns to criticism of the healthcare system following last week’s television documentary “Leivur vil liva”. The documentary highlighted the difficulty of accessing detoxification and treatment. Breddin will speak with Tormóð Stórá, chief senior physician at the Psychiatric Centre, and Annika Holm, head of Heilbrigdi.

The programme will also examine violent unrest in France over the weekend, when rioters set fires, broke into shops and looted them. It will ask what is happening in France and why violence is spreading to other European countries. Breddin airs at 10 a.m.
