A new campaign aims to improve understanding of which behaviours are criminal, Kringvarp Føroya (KVF) reports.

In recent years, several changes have been made to the Criminal Code. Sex without consent, sexual extortion, enticement, psychological violence and stalking are now criminal offences.

But those behind the SKIL SAMTYKKI campaign say there is too little understanding of what these offences involve. The campaign aims to address that.

SIG FRÁ at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing is leading the campaign with the Equality Office and Amnesty Faroe Islands, in cooperation with several other organisations. Information for parents and teachers is available at samtykki.fo.
