Eastern Iceland to stay bright as winds strengthen

Eastern Iceland will remain mostly clear today, while light rain is expected elsewhere, mbl.is reports.

Southwesterly winds of 8 to 13 metres per second are forecast, with temperatures ranging from 4 to 10 degrees Celsius in many places.

Tomorrow, southerly winds will increase and bring some precipitation. Skies will be mostly clear in the northeast and east, while winds strengthen in the afternoon to 15 to 25 metres per second, strongest in the west. Considerable rain is expected in the west, with little precipitation in the north and east. Temperatures will be between 7 and 13 degrees.
