A teacher says the new Kervipluss system is not working for communication between teachers and students, teachers and parents, or parents and children, KVF reports.
Steintór Rasmussen, a teacher at Skúlatrøð school in Klaksvík, said communication was under pressure because it now had to take place on screens. Kervipluss was introduced at the start of the school year and was developed by the Education Directorate for use across the education system. It allows teachers to keep records and assign homework.
Eyðun Gaard, director of Nám, said natural communication could continue despite schools adopting Kervipluss. Rasmussen and Gaard discussed the issue on KVF’s Breddin programme on Thursday morning.
