Kanta-Häme proposes negotiations affecting 6,000 staff

Kanta-Häme’s wellbeing services county has proposed co-operation negotiations covering about 6,000 employees, Yle reports. The talks would apply to all of the county’s service divisions.

The county says it is seeking savings of about 4.2 million euros through the negotiations.

The proposal is linked to a plan to cover the county’s deficits that was prepared for the Ministry of Finance. The county board is due to consider the matter at its meeting next Monday.
