The tourism industry association is calling for tighter rules on home dining, KVF reports, after a proposed decree failed to take effect before the spring parliamentary election.
The draft rules, which were open for consultation shortly before the election, would have required providers to live in the home where meals are served and to prepare the food in a private kitchen used by the household.
They would also have barred the business from operating in an outbuilding, cowshed, boathouse or other premises that was not the provider’s home.
Jacob Vestergaard, the minister now responsible for the matter, says he has no plans to revisit it.
