Helsinki Police are investigating suspected break-ins at members of parliament’s homes as attempted aggravated thefts, Yle reports.
Police said they had continued the investigation, including by interviewing MPs involved. The preliminary investigation is being conducted in close cooperation with Parliament and the National Bureau of Investigation, and, if necessary, the Security Police.
Police described the case as an extensive investigation that will take time. They said they would not yet assess the background to the incidents, who was responsible or their motives. Police are also withholding further comment to avoid jeopardising the investigation.
