Economic Council says fiscal rules must go further

The fiscal policy framework proposed so far is not ambitious enough, the chairman of the Economic Council says, according to KVF.

The council has long called for such a framework. In its latest appeal, it added the words “that makes a difference”. Chairman Johnny í Grótinum said the wording was added for a reason.
