Police receive more reports of scratched cars
Police in Iceland’s capital area have received further reports of cars being scratched, mbl.is reported. Three such reports were received last week.
Deputy Chief Superintendent Ásmundur Rúnar Gylfason said police did not have a total number of reports. Officers have also received video footage and are reviewing it. No one is suspected of the vandalism.
Most of the damage has occurred in Vesturbær, a neighborhood. Gylfason said he was not aware of any further reports of swastikas being scratched onto cars. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 444-1000 or by email.
