The High Court is hearing cases involving two men who were each sentenced to 12 years in prison over 7.2 litres of 5F-ADB, KVF reports.

The court is hearing the men’s cases today and tomorrow. The substance, formally known as 5F-MDMB-PINACA, is used to make drugs. It is expected to become clear later this week whether the High Court will impose lighter sentences than the Føroya Rættur, the Faroese court, as it has done in an earlier 5F-ADB case.

That earlier case was the first involving 5F-ADB in the Danish Realm. The Føroya Rættur sentenced a man to one year and 10 months in unconditional imprisonment for smuggling 383 millilitres of 5F-ADB and 50.8 grams of cocaine. The High Court reduced his sentence by four months.

Separately, a man was remanded in custody for four weeks on Saturday after being arrested at the airport on arrival from Denmark. He is charged with possessing 100 grams of hashish, 25 grams of MDMA and between five and six grams of ketamine. He has partly admitted the charges.
