Cool weather and possible first snow to greet Finland’s autumn break

Finland’s autumn holiday week will begin with cool weather across the country, with the first snow also possible in Lapland later in the week, Yle reports.

Scattered showers are expected in southern and central Finland on Sunday and Monday. Skies will remain mostly cloudy as far north as central Finland, while the sunniest weather on Sunday is forecast in the north.

Cloud cover will vary on Tuesday, but most of the country is expected to stay dry. Rain is forecast to arrive from the west around the middle of the week, bringing the possibility of Lapland’s first snow.
