The common wage framework for the public-sector labour market will be 3.86 per cent for the coming year, KVF reports. The figure is now confirmed following the publication of the national accounts for 2025, the Finance Ministry said.
A total of 17 trade unions are covered by the agreement, which will provide a basis for upcoming collective bargaining negotiations.
In February 2026, the Finance Ministry and 12 public-sector trade unions signed an agreement on a common wage framework. It says the framework for the period from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 should be set once figures for productivity growth in 2025 are available. Those figures have now been published.
From 1 October 2027 until the agreement expires, the framework will be set each year using the same method.
