Akureyri tipster wins 1.2 million kroner in four days

A tipster in Akureyri won more than 1.2 million Icelandic krónur over four days by correctly predicting all 13 results on two betting slips, mbl.is reported.

The tipster picked all 13 matches correctly on Wednesday’s Icelandic pools coupon, winning more than one million krónur. The same person had also correctly predicted all 13 results on the previous Sunday’s coupon, winning nearly 200,000 krónur.

The winner supports Akureyri Skating Club, according to a statement from Íslenskar getraunir, the organisation behind the pools.

Another tipster correctly predicted all 13 results on the English pools coupon and will receive 900,000 krónur.
