More than one million people can now retrieve their Danish compulsory-school exam grades online dating back to 2002, DR reports.
The National Archives and the Agency for IT and Learning have expanded access to digital copies of grades from school exam certificates. Previously, records were available only as far back as 2017.
“We are pleased with the new solution, which shows that preserving public data at the National Archives is not only about documenting the past,” National Archivist Morten Ellegaard said in a statement.
The records are available through Min kompetencemappe, an online service that also contains other education certificates. The grades may be useful when applying for a job or further education.
