Finns want leaders who are fair, approachable and trustworthy, according to a leadership survey by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, reported by Yle.
Some 65 per cent of respondents said a good leader is fair and just, while 54 per cent said they should be approachable and 50 per cent trustworthy. Expectations have remained unchanged despite rapid changes in working life.
Respondents gave leadership a school grade of seven, which is considered satisfactory. Around 2,000 people took part in the survey, conducted by E2 Research.
