The Ministry of Business plans to raise prices for state-owned land, KVF reported. A proposal to amend the regulation on land prices has been sent out for consultation.
The highest price per square metre would rise to 183 kroner from 137 kroner under the current regulation, which dates from 2007. That rate applies to cultivated land and land well suited for cultivation in a favourable location in the capital region.
The minimum price would increase to 60 kroner per square metre from 22 kroner. It applies to heathland that offers poor grazing and is unsuitable for cultivation on outlying islands and between villages. The best land is sold based on an assessment.
