Stubb to visit Oslo for talks with Norway’s leaders

Finnish President Alexander Stubb will make a working visit to Oslo on Thursday, October 8, and meet Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and King Haakon VIII, Yle reports.

Stubb and Støre will discuss next steps on an appeal concerning the governance of AI models, launched at their initiative, as well as Russia’s war in Ukraine and European security, the Office of the President of the Republic said.

Stubb will also take part in a discussion organised by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, where he will give a speech on values, interests and power in an era of strategic competition.
