Rubio arrives at Höfði for talks with Iceland’s foreign minister

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived at Höfði to meet Icelandic Foreign Minister Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, mbl.is reported.

At least 10 armed police officers were stationed outside the building, where police had mounted a large security operation.

Rubio was also due to meet Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir and Þorgerður Katrín at the Safnahúsið building on Hverfisgata, followed by a press conference with Icelandic and international media.
