Betesda choir celebrates 100 years in the Faroe Islands

The Betesda Choir marked its 100th anniversary on Thursday, and a celebration is scheduled for 6.30pm on Saturday at Betesda, KVF reports.
Founded on 1 October 1926, the choir is considered one of the oldest and most active in the Faroe Islands.
Tóra við Keldu, who has been a member for 37 years, said the choir had had a significant social and spiritual influence on her life.
