Several drinks made by Icelandic company Ölgerðin have been in short supply after a packaging machine broke down, mbl.is reported. The company expects stocks to return to normal next week.

The shortages have affected some varieties of Collab, Mix and Kristal, as well as Egils soda water. One of Ölgerðin’s packaging machines at its production facility at Grjótháls failed, disrupting production of six-can multipacks.

Marketing manager Elísabet Austmann said demand for some products had also been higher than expected. The production stoppage lasted about two to three weeks, and the company has been running at full capacity again for around two weeks.

Because demand for the affected products is high, rebuilding stocks will take time. Ölgerðin hopes to catch up next week.
