Starvsfelagið contracts expire as negotiations continue

Employment contracts covering Starvsfelagið members in government and municipalities expired on October 1, KVF reported Friday. The union says negotiations have gone well so far.

Starvsfelagið is negotiating with the Ministry of Finance and the Municipal Employers’ Association. The previous contracts remain in force while talks continue, until a new agreement is reached or negotiations break down.

The union expects figures that will determine the pay framework to be published on Tuesday.
