About 120 Faroese businesspeople who took part in a major business mission in Greenland in recent days are returning home on Friday, KVF reports.
One of them is Jón Sigurdsson, chairman of the Faroese Employers’ Association, who signed a cooperation agreement with Grønlands Erhverv on Thursday evening.
Sigurdsson said Greenland has considerable business activity and major investments planned across several sectors, including energy, telecommunications and infrastructure.
Kristian Stórhamar, who has extensive experience with tunnel projects as well as experience in Greenland, said it was natural for Faroese companies to make their services available there.
