Sonic boom over Gulf of Finland heard in Porvoo

A sonic boom apparently broke over the Gulf of Finland on Friday afternoon and was heard in Porvoo, Yle reported.

The Finnish Defence Forces’ General Staff told Svenska Yle that it may have been a routine identification flight. The Eastern Uusimaa Rescue Department said there was no reason for concern.
