More children involved in attack on boy during confirmation trip

More children took part in an attack on a boy during a confirmation trip at Vatnaskógur, a summer-camp venue, last weekend than was initially reported, according to new information obtained by mbl.is.

Initial reports said a young boy had been seriously assaulted by another child on the trip. The new information suggests the incident involved more children than previously thought.

It is not yet known how many children were involved or what role each played. The trip was not organised by the summer camp at Vatnaskógur.
