During routine checks elsewhere in the city, officers stopped another driver, who was under the influence and did not have a valid driving licence. The driver was arrested and taken to a police station for standard processing, then released.

In Kópavogur and Breiðholt, police stopped a driver whose car had tinted film on its front windows. Officers filed a report and ordered the vehicle to be inspected at a testing station. Police also responded to a report of noise from a party and told the resident to respect other people’s quiet hours.
