Finance proposal projects 25.3 million kroner deficit

A supplementary appropriations proposal submitted to parliament by the finance minister yesterday projects a deficit of 25.3 million kroner, KVF reports.

Of that amount, 24.3 million kroner net is for operating costs. The Ministry of Finance says the deficit can be accommodated within the updated operating framework for 2026 under the fiscal policy rules.

Parliament has been asked to increase funding for 27 budget accounts and reduce it for a few others.
